The Volquartsen competition bolt fits Ruger MK II, MK III, and MK IV pistols and helps improve reliability, cycling, and overall performance. Volquartsen machines and grinds the bolt for a precise fit and finish, then case hardens it and applies a DLC finish for increased hardness, lower friction, improved wear resistance, and reduced lubrication needs.

This complete bolt assembly includes the Exact Edge extractor, SureStrike firing pin, and Volquartsen recoil rod with the standard-rate spring already installed. In addition, Volquartsen includes heavy and reduced-power springs in the package, so shooters can tune the setup for different ammo types and recoil preferences. The extended bolt racker is machined directly into the bolt, which also makes manual cycling easier and more comfortable.
